Symon Broadcast is a software application that turns an “off-the-shelf” PC into a media player that has all of the core features and functions of a Symon SDA715 media player. Symon Broadcast is the perfect option for those who are required to have “off-the-shelf” hardware components on their network.
When Symon Broadcast is installed on a PC that meets Symon’s configuration requirements, Symon Broadcast offers all of the features that are core to Symon’s media players plus the following:
- Cinematic and standard transitions
- Crawling and scrolling tickers
- Support for real-time data & data triggering
- Remotely upgradeable firmware
- Proof of play reporting
- Auto-reboot recovery
- SNTP notification
- Event logging
Symon Broadcast must be installed on a PC with the following configuration:
- Windows Vista Ultimate SP1
- .NET Framework 3.5, SP1
- Windows Media Player 11
- Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 2.0 Ghz or better
- 2GB DDR2/DDR3 667/800 Mhz Dual Chanannel SDRAM
